Dover, Delaware, Nov. 21, 2006 – The Indofunk Network today announced that it will be premiering Spectacle, an art show featuring the work of local artists, on Saturday, December 9, 2006 from 7 PM until 10 PM. The event will be hosted at Cafe 33 West in downtown Dover and showcase works by photographers Jessica Bratton and Desiree Prarie. Spectacle is an effort to bring a fresh style of entertainment to Dover that is traditionally available only in larger metropolitan areas. Cafe 33 West is located at 33 W. Jessica Bratton is a full time professional photographer with 10 years of experience who currently works for a weekly entertainment magazine. She will be showcasing an eclectic mix of her work collected during this past year. Jessica can be reached through her website http://jessicabrattonclique.com. Desiree Prarie has spent the last 5 years developing her photography techniques. She is currently interested in portraiture and tries to capture emotion and discover messages in her pictures. A selection of her most recent work will be on display. Spectacle will also feature music selections by Blaze Youngers.
The Indofunk Network is the same group responsible for the Super Machine, a very successful all ages music event during March of last year which benefited the Delaware Mentoring Council. Indofunk is a network of like-minded people interested in developing the local original music and art scene in the tri-state area of Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The group focuses mainly on promotion, exposure, and enhancement of local musicians by providing recording faculties, graphic and web design, access to traditional media outlets, event advertisement and coverage, and booking assistance.
